South Queensland Sharks junior coaching staff positions for the 2021 National Youth Championships (NYC) are now open. NYC is an annual tournament hosted by Touch Football Australia, contested by Australia's best young Touch Footballers. This year's event will be held on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland from Wednesday, September 29 to Saturday, October 2.
Boys and girls teams will be selected for these events in the following age groups:
U/12 - Born 2009/10
U/14 - Born 2007/08
U/16 - Born 2006/05
U/18 - Born 2004/03
Details of the trial, nomination and selection process for players and teams will be announced soon.
The South Queensland Sharks have a proud record at junior events such as NYC and head into the 2021 campaign as defending champions. We hope to bring together a strong coaching staff to give ourselves the best chance of winning the overall championship title at this prestigious event again in 2021.
