REFEREE

Referees play a vital role in Touch Football, ensuring our game is played in a fair, safe and enjoyable environment for all participants.

TFA has a four-level system in place for our Referees as they progress through our pathways. Becoming a qualified referee is a vital step to ensuring you are prepared to officiate a game of Touch Football at the local level. Once you are a qualified Affiliate Referee, you can engage in additional courses, workshops, and development modules to enhance your skills. For those seeking to officiate in tournaments, the Grading pathway is designed to progressively challenge referees as they officiate in higher and higher environments.

New Referee Education and Development Framework

Touch Football Australia has recently released a whole new education and development framework targeted at better supporting, developing, and nurturing our referees in the sport.  For more informatioj, head here.
