REPRESENTATIVE REFEREE GRADING

STEP

 

Interested in furthering your Refereeing career?

If you'd like to Referee at a representative level for your Region at National Youth Championships or the National Touch League, or are simply looking at improving your refereeing, then this step is for you.

You'll need to hold the Affiliate Referee qualification and have completed the Representative Referee Theory Course to proceed.

Register with/ Log in to ‘The Nest

 

Instructions for registering with the Nest 

Have you completed the Representative Referee Theory Course in the Nest before wanting to receive Representative Referee Grading to complete your accreditation?

YES

Go to Step 2 to enrol for Representative Referee Grading

*Please note the Representative Referee Theory Course is a prerequisite to Representative Referee Grading

STEP

 

Find and enrol in the Representative Referee Grading event

Click Training Library > TFA - Referee Courses and Grading > Representative Referee Grading

At this stage you will be required to –

  • Enrol via event

  • Select event from the calendar to attend

STEP

 

Work with your referee coach / mentor

  • Prepare yourself as best you can against the standard required (competency sheet available in The Nest)

  • Seek further support from your regional referee director (who will need to endorse you)

STEP

 

Have an onfield assessment completed by an accredited  Referee Coach at an upgrade event (e.g. Junior State Cup, Junior State Cup North, Bundaberg Cup)
