AFFILIATE REFEREE COURSE
DO YOU WANT TO BE A REFEREE?
Signing up to become a Touch referee is easy!!!
The Affiliate Referee course can be completed by anyone who is aged 12 years or older, and comprises a face to face course.
All courses are run through THE NEST, which is Touch Football Australia's online database which keeps your accreditations up to date and your information in safe hands.
To begin your refereeing journey, simply follow the steps below.

Find and enrol in the Affiliate Referee course
Click Training Library > TFA Referee Courses and Grading > Affiliate Referee Course
At this stage you will be required to –

Enrol via event in the course

Pay online
(check with your Affiliate/ Club for discounts)

Preparation for Attending a Scheduled Course

Click - My Training > TFA – Affiliate Referee course (click View) > ‘Start Course’

Click here to view all available courses via the calendar

Enrol in the face-to-face course of your choice from the calendar

‘Download Affiliate Referee Manual’ – click to download, print and bring along to the course

Purchase a Thunderer 58.5 whistle and take to the course

Attend the selected course as advertised by your Affiliate

Please note: to be able to attend the scheduled course, you MUST have completed the enrolment at Step 3.

Contact your local affiliate to schedule your availability and start refereeing
It is important to reach out to your affiliate to identify the referee coordinator, referee director or referee coach, so that you have a contact and understand the affiliate's referee allocation system used.
